Ethics, Privacy & Regulatory Compliance

Classroom Focus Meter is engineered with strict privacy-by-design principles to protect minors and educators in academic settings. All audio and visual inputs are analyzed ephemerally and completely purged from memory.

Zero Biometric Storage

Our neural inference models analyze aggregate acoustic sound energy and ambient posture cues. We NEVER generate or store facial identification vectors, pupil tracking data, or speaker voiceprint profiles.

24-Hour Ephemeral Purge

In compliance with REQ-005, all uploaded audio, video, or photo samples are purged from volatile memory and server storage within 24 hours of inference execution unless explicitly retained by the teacher.

FERPA & COPPA Aligned

Meets United States Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) standards and Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) regulations for educational software and school district deployments.

REQ-007 Mandatory Educational Analytics Advisory

NON-DIAGNOSTIC EDTECH ANALYTICS ADVISORY: This automated acoustic and visual engagement assessment is intended strictly for formative instructional reflection and pedagogical coaching. It does not measure individual student cognitive capacity, medical attention conditions, or assess academic grades. In compliance with FERPA and COPPA, no student biometrics, facial templates, or voiceprints are retained.

This system is intended as an assistant for reflective instructional practice, helping teachers identify when classroom energy dips and when student dialogue flourishes. It must never be used for punitive student tracking, disciplinary actions, or clinical cognitive assessments.
